FINAL PDF 2012 Boat Launch Schedule

MAJOR CHANGE IN SCHEDULING: Boats on stands in boatyard will be loaded on flatbeds FIRST, then the crane will go to Pier to launch ALL boats, then hoist masts. This avoids crane having to leave Pier, go to boatyard then come back as done previously (two crane set ups instead of three).

Please advise of any scheduling problems so I can revise the final schedule to be issued next Wednesday May 16. [FINAL 2012 Schedule]

Boat Launch 2012

The launch date this year will be Thursday May 17, starting at 10:00 as usual.

This could be another low water level year at launch time…

Please advise Phil Simpson if you regularly join us but WILL NOT be launching or need to launch but will be away, etc..

Also advise if you know of someone else/new who will need the crane to launch.

Otherwise I will assume you WILL be launching when I issue a draft schedule for review in early May.

Thanks

Phil

Winter Rendezvous 2012

Hello Everyone!

Well winter has finally arrived and although the snow makes everything look beautiful outside, it makes the days of boating seem further away than ever!  To help ease that feeling the Oiseau Rock Power and Sail Squadron is having a Winter Rendezvous on Saturday February 4th from 4-7:30 pm.  Bring your favourite beverage and a hot or cold hors d’oeuvres/finger food.  The Squadron will supply dessert and tea or coffee.  Ross and Carole Judd have graciously offered their home for the event (349 McAnulty, Deep River).  There is plenty of parking for everyone!  Ross has an area to put up photos etc. from past boating adventures for everyone to enjoy during the evening.  So if you have some to contribute, please contact him at 613-584-4418 or email moc.a1337590734ssora1337590734c@ddu1337590734j.sso1337590734r1337590734.  Come out and reminisce  with your fellow boaters about the warm weather and the wonderful times boating over the summer.   We want to make sure we have enough dessert for everyone so please RSVP to Ross by Tues, Jan 31.

Please note that comments and posts may not appear immediately as we try to filter out the junk that has become such a major part of the web. Thank you for your understanding.
